Please tell me if this is a good workout routine for weight loss.?
I am a woman about 20 pounds overweight and just joined a gym. We do not have personal trainers around (very small town) so I line routine. It consists of 30 minutes of cardio and then a stretching workout strength with weights (3 sets of 12-15 Repitition). I no idea how I would lift or how many times I have to do to lose weight. Can anyone help? Thank you.
It's hard to say, but if you feel it burning … then it's working. Your workout plan sounds good and every now and then you'll want to change it up. The combination of cardio and strength training you can achieve your goal. Just make sure that your workout it is spaced … For example, do not work each body part each day. Day work on the chest and triceps …. not another day back & biceps …. etc. I am sure that your routine decomposes online for you. Looks like you're on the right track. Just remember … If the weight feels easy, then bump the weight. You want to burn …. your last set should really burn!
